Meet MiO - the Midas of ordinary H20. If you've tried MiO before, you know how it works. Just a few drops and BAM! an instant flavored drink that screams. We've put together a short list of ideas where MiO might come in handy in other places. Read on!
1. Flavored Ice Cubes
With summer right around the corner, why not enjoy crunching on ice that's more than refreshing? I like to use two different ice trays for this one- one ice tray will contain a good eight to ten drops of MiO that make ice cubes to flavor an entire glass, and another ice tray that has just a drop of mio that's perfect for crunching on. Oh, and if those ice cubes melt? You have yourself a MiO drink! Which leads us to...
2. MiO Shaved Ice
I get these shaved ice cravings every now and then. Even in the middle of a blizzard! But I'll be the first to tell you that I hate making anything resembling a snow cone because the things make a mess. A huge bloody mess. Instead of mucking around with those terrible syrups and their high fructose corn syrup content, I've started using MiO. And, might I add, The flavors taste better than your traditional ice treat too. You'll notice in the picture that we didn't douse the ice with MiO as we would with ordinary syrup. Because MiO's pretty concentrated, you only need to squirt enough of it to color the surface. Make sure you mix it up a little!
3. MiO Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade
It's a mouthful, yes, and it's also not an ice treat (you got me!), but let's face it: Lemonade's a fantastic drink that's also extremely versatile. Grab yourself a MiO Strawberry Watermelon pack and a glass of lemonade and shake it up. Or some Berry Pomegranate lemonade, or some mango peach lemonade... try every combination. Trust me. I haven't gone wrong with using lemonade as a base yet.
